UN.GIFT Small Grants Facility - Upcoming Call for Proposals

20 February 2010 - Civil Society  Organizations (CSOs) play a vital role in addressing the issue of  human trafficking worldwide. They are an essential partner in all prevention, protection and prosecution efforts. Activities that CSOs engage in range from raising awareness, measuring progress of commitments made by other stakeholders, collection and analysis of data, and influencing public opinion. CSOs help governments in identifying victims of trafficking and offer direct services to them; such services include legal assistance, medical and psychological care, as well as supporting voluntary repatriation and reintegration, or the process of integration in the country of destination.  [Read More]
